ST. THERESA PRAYERS AND DEVOTIONS
SAINT THERESA NOVENA FEAST DAY OCTOBER 1
O beautiful Rose of Carmel, Saint Therese of the Infant Jesus, deign according to your promise to descend from Heaven to visit
those who implore you. Pour down upon us in profusion those Celestial Graces that are symbolized by the shower of roses that
Jesus, your Spouse, had put at your disposal. Your power is great with his Heart. He can only listen and hear your prayer.
I have recourse to you then, O Saint Therese of the Child Jesus; assist me in this need. Speak for me to Jesus and to Mary
and obtain for me the grace to live a holy life and die a happy death. Amen

PRAYER OF CONSECRATION TO MERCIFUL LOVE
from 33 Days to Merciful Love by Michael Gaitley MIC
Merciful Father, relying on the prayers and example of Abraham and Mary, my father and mother in faith, and of St. Theresa,
my sister in the way of humble confidence. I _________
choose this day with the help of your grace, to strive with all my heart to Follow the Little Way. And so,
I firmly intend to fight discouragement, do little things with great love, and merciful to my neighbor in word, deed and
I am to keep before my eyes my poverty, weakness and brokenness and sin, trusting that my littleness and contrite heart
will attract Your Merciful Love.
I choose to remain always little, not relying on my own merits but solely on Yours. dear Lord and those of the Blessed
Finally, I believe, my God that You can and will make me into a saint, even if I won't see it, even if I to struggle all
my life against vice and sin, even if I have to wait till the very end. This blind hope of your mercy, O Lord is my only treasure.
And now to confirm my resolve and to console You for so much rejection to your mercy. I OFFER MYSELF, THROUGH THE HAND
OF MARY IMMACULATE, AS A VICTIM OF HOLLOCAUST TO YOUR MERCIFUL LOVE, asking you to consume me incessantly, allowing the waves
of infinite tenderness shut up within You to overflow in my soul, and that I may thus become a martyr of your love. O my God,
and a gift of mercy to so many others.
I ask this in Jesus Name Amen.
ACT OF OBLATION TO MERCIFUL LOVE ST. THERESA
Self-offering to the Trinity (St. Theresa of Lisieux)
O My God, in order that I may be a living act of perfect love, I offer myself as a whole burnt offering to your tender
love. Consume me continually, letting my soul overflow with the floods of infinite tenderness that are found in you, so that
I may become a martyr of your love.
Let this martyrdom make me ready to appear before you and at last cause me to expire. Let my soul cast itself without
delay into the everlasting arms of your merciful love. O my beloved, with every beat of my heart I desire to renew this offering
an infinite number of times, until that day when the shadows shall vanish and I shall be able to retell my love in an internal
face-to-face with you.
Miraculous Invocation to Saint Theresa
O Glorious Saint Theresa, whom Almighty God has raised up to aid and counsel mankind, I implore your Miraculous

Body and Soul our Holy Mother Church proclaims you a "Prodigy of Miracles... the Greatest Saint of Modern Times."
Now I fervently beseech you to answer my petition (mention here) and to carry out your promises of spending
Heaven doing good upon earth...of letting fall from Heaven a Shower of Roses. Henceforth, dear Little Flower, I will fulfill
your plea "to be made known everywhere." And I will never cease to lead others to Jesus through you. Amen.
Prayer to St. Therese
O little St. Therese of the child Jesus, who
during your short life on earth became a mirror of angelic purity, of love strong as death, and of wholehearted abandonment
to God, now that you rejoice in the reward of your virtues, cast a glance of pity on me as I leave all things in your hands.
Make my troubles your own – speak a word for me to our Lady Immaculate, whose flower of special love you were –
to that Queen of heaven “who smiled on you at the dawn of life.” Beg her as the Queen of the heart of Jesus to
obtain for me by her powerful intercession, the grace I yearn for so ardently at this moment, and that she join with it a
blessing that may strengthen me during life. Defend me at the hour of death, and lead me straight on to a happy eternity.
A Daily Prayer to St. Theresa

by your example as I go through this day to offer
my "little" acts to glorify our Beloved
Lord, and to spread your "little flowers" of love
to everyone I meet. Amen
